Paint Atlantic Highlands with Marge!!

“The Jewel of the Bayshore,” Atlantic Highlands has always been a
favorite locale for painters.  This spring and summer, the Atlantic
Highlands Arts Council offers the opportunity to spend a social
morning painting in the company of artists.  Beginners to
experienced painters working in any medium are invited to bring an
easel, notebook, and supplies and join pastel painter Marge Levine
every Tuesday, weather permitting, to paint outdoors.

Artists will meet at the Gazebo at the entrance to the Atlantic
Highlands Municipal Harbor Tuesdays at 9 am, pick a local scene to
paint, and return to the Gazebo at noon to share ideas and critique
each others’ work.  No registration needed to join any or all of the
free paintout sessions .  Check with Marge for  NEW days and
times.

Paintout leader Marge Levine is an award winning pastel painter
with works in museums and private collections across the country.
A member of the Pastel Society of America, The Salmagundi Club,
American Impressionist Society, the Degas Pastel Society, and a
Signature member of the Pastel Society of Cape Cod, Marge Levine’
s painting “Looking Back” has just won first place in the American
Artist “Showcase Your State: New Jersey" Contest.  “Looking Back”
is currently included in the exhibit “From Hills to Harbor, scenes of
Atlantic Highlands” at Atlantic Artisans Gallery on First Avenue,
Atlantic Highlands through April 15.
