A.K.A  the Two Rivers Garden Tour
Hi All,

Welcome to the 2010 PAPJC , the year of the horse (as you will see).

To get the painting season off to a good start, let's meet at the the
Sunnyside Equestrian Center in Middletown, at 9:30 am, on Monday
3-8-10.  Here we can paint some horses, barns, and pastures.  This will
prepare us to paint some "horse themed paintings" for our new show during
the month of June at the Monmouth Library, to celebrate June, the
Equestrian Month in Jew Jersey, as the Horse is the NJ state animal!
Directions and a map are posted on our "Current Locations" page. (Follow
the "Our Painting Locations" link  in the left hand column here.)

This is only one of a full season of PAPJC activities that are in the works!
Details will be posted here on the web, and covered in future weekly
emails, as each activity firms up.  However, here is a list of some key
activities and dates for you to keep in mind.

Dues:  Please submit your dues ($45) by May 10, 2010 . Directions for this
are on the bottom of the "Urgent Announcements" page.

Annual Meeting:  May 10th at the Middletown Arts Center at 9:30 AM.  At
that meeting please be prepared to pay your dues (if not done already) and

and 24th.

on Saturday June 12th.

Deep Cut Park Paintout: Celebrating the renovation of the Rose Parterre

Bayonet Farm Paintout: September 12th.

Date to be announced.

Annual Show: November and December at the Middletown Arts Center.

As you can see, we have many exciting opportunities in 2010.  We will
need many volunteers to make these events a success.  Please respond to
the PAPJC email indicating your willingness to help.  The board is putting
together a standard support package to provide our volunteers with the
necessary documentation, such as registration forms, show tags, etc., to
help make our volunteer's jobs easier, giving us each time to concentrate
on painting, while at the same time helping to insure the success of our
events.

The weekly emails will both announce the up-comming painting locations,
and provide updates on upcoming activities, calls for registration etc..  The
details for each activity will be on the web site for your ready reference.
This way it will be easy to keep fully updated on the PAPJC activities.

Thanks,

Joe
